Overview
Additional Pre-School provision was urgently required for the Clophill community and the opportunity to construct a new building at the local Lower School presented itself. A location close to the site entrance was carefully selected; it was a requirement of planning consent that some of the architectural design features echoed the past heritage of an original Victorian school building which stood on the plot, including the nearby original bell tower. The result is a beautiful new fit-for-purpose pre-school with a large play space, outdoor play area and associated facilities.
