Sports Hall and Classroom Block, Henlow CofE Academy

Overview
We were approached by Henlow Church of England Academy when it became clear that they needed to expand the number of pupil places available. And because this is a ‘middle school’ Academy with children between the ages of 9-13, it was also necessary to upgrade and expand the indoor sports facilities too. Our design for a 4-court sports hall and attached 6-classroom block received planning permission from Central Bedfordshire Council. This was a large educational project which we oversaw from feasibility through to completion, with the design, specification, procurement and contract administration all undertaken by PCMS Design.
